Because most people who own gaming PCs wanted nothing to do with the mess Watch Dogs was on the platform.

Illusion: Watch dogs was unoptimized. So PC sales are low.

The truth: Ubisoft as well as major publishers; is very pleased with PS4 and Xbox One software sales.

They can always go play Mobas and MMO's wich are mainly on pcs. Oh wait, they are made for the average consumer not the 2000$ rigs so its still not optimzed.

This is the problem with pcs, by not having a standart, most devs will make a game that the majority will play wich are cheaper pcs that are probably weeker than consoles.

Wrong. The Watch Dogs reccomended specs was already much more powerful than a PS4. And it was still a mess. And you don't need a $2000 gaming rig to play high-end games, you can do that with a $800 rig.

So I need a $800 rig to play a $400 ps4 quality game? O dear god wich shall I choose?

No, you need a $800 rig to play games better than the PS4. Also, games are cheaper, and there is no need to pay for online.

"Graphically" better, identical in gameplay. Online Content is only valid for online games, that aren't always online i.e MMOs. The most popular games on PCs are the least graphically demanding.

Seeing as that the majority of users buy PS+, it matters not. Also, games are better in gameplay due to mods (Skyrim, GTA, Fallout, Minecraft to name some popular ones). And the most popular games are least graphically demanding, yes. They also happen to be the most popular games in the world. Are we going to discount the PS4's power just because Towerfall is one of the most popular games?

None of which are on the PS4 currently. Obviously Mods make it better, but its not only preferential its also not possible on the platform unless every PS4 was a dev kit. As far as retail is concerned, they are identical in gameplay. And the majority of users by PS+ not for online multiplayer alone, but for its various other benefits. None of the games I have with the exception of the free games I got for having PS+, require PS+ to function even online. When I finally get Watch_Dogs, it will be the first.

Yes for those who are lucky, and can easily upgrade their tower with a 200 dollar graphics card, assuming there setup allows for it, those games are cheaper. But for my 3 year old, 700 dollar laptop that I bought for school, manages to play all of last gen better than consoles, but struggles to hit 25 fps for Watch_Dogs at lowest settings, I can't do that, so I bought a 400$ ps4 instead of a 800$ pc and I'm payed 50$ for PS+ cause I dont have that kind of cash right now.

Which is fine. Gaming PCs aren't the best for everyone. But let's not pretend that they aren't superior in many ways. Consoles do some things better, PCs do other things better. I personally love mods, and seeing as that the next Fallout and Elder Scrolls will almost certainly support mods, PC is the only platform I will consider for the game. Same with most multiplatform games- they look better on PC. Even if it is just looks, it's still an advantage.
