You know, If I actually believed VGChartz pre order numbers then I would be inclined to agree, but since we all know that VGChartz numbers are horrid I wouldn't put any stock into these numbers.

I'd like to think COD is finally losing its undeserved high sales, (and I say this as someone who plays and enjoys COD) but sadly it'll probably bounce back on positive word of mouth and outsell Ghosts.

I feel sorry for EA though, they pushed battlefield really hard to beat Call of Duty and they couldn't... now Activision can do it with Destiny. Which at the end is even more money for them.

I think it's an effect Black Ops 2 and Ghosts did on people.

On BO2 it was because there was so much bullshit stuffs in that game. Everything was buffed because it was high tech and stuffs.

On Ghosts it's because it was simply boring and you die too fast. The maps and spawns were terrible also.

People are being cautious about Advance Warfare, even more advance tech would mean even more BS in multi ? That's the message they are giving them.

The numbers are still very low.

For exemple, PS4 version was like 35k last week. This week it increased only 2.5k, reaching 37.5k. The others were bad as well.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

I think it's bad timing on their part. If Advanced Warfare sells as badly as preorders suggest, then the FPS market is up for grabs. They should have launched BF4 this year, because it would have a better shot going up against a new IP than CoD (and EA shooters have failed time and time again against CoD). If Hardline fails to deliver then Destiny, like you said will beat (and become) CoD.
