I think it's bad timing on their part. If Advanced Warfare sells as badly as preorders suggest, then the FPS market is up for grabs. They should have launched BF4 this year, because it would have a better shot going up against a new IP than CoD (and EA shooters have failed time and time again against CoD). If Hardline fails to deliver then Destiny, like you said will beat (and become) CoD.
