The PS4 will stop making remakes when they release the most profitable ones. This gives time to other developers time to work in new games. I still don't like the swarm or remakes and remaster of recent games, but if it can give developers time, so be it.

They slightly stemmed the bleeding, but merely temporary. Destiny will open up the wound much more and Xmas the PS4 will crush them both sales wise.

X1 price has been falling like a rock and deals are a plenty, and wiiu just had the biggest game if its life release. And they both are still getting whooped by PS4.

you guys understand ^^ what that means don't yahh ????

I think the OP was implying the GAP in weekly or monthly sales.  It may be near impossible to make up the difference, but the difference as a percentage will decrease(thus shrinking the gap statistically) as the userbases grow.  IF the gap stops increasing anyway!



yes, i did address this. and i see that the title is poorly worded i see what it may imply to certain people. im sure a lot more users will come into this thread saying the same thing, but what i meant is that ps4 isnt getting 60% market share like people are predicting, and this week it was well under 60%

Its true, for the lifetime of the PS4 its only going to have remasters. At this rate (judging from 7-8 months from its release) the PS4....will die. Seriously, last of us remaster is whats making you think the consoles cycle will be about remasters? And im not sure the PS4 can get 60% (where you get that info anyway) 

3rd party is what it push consoles and Multi-platform are better on ps4



PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

I think its too early to tell weather or not the PS4 can hit a 60% market share or not. Though I feel there is no reason to assume that it won't. Every assumption you are arriving it is while comparing the PS4 at its possible worst time of th year to nintendo and MS who at least have something happenning at this point that would spur sales. MK8 and price drop respectively. After the fall season would be a better time to make such a sales prediction.

What are you talking about? The gap is widening every week still. In order for closing the gaps xbox and wii u needs to sell more than the ps4.

its not meant to inflame. i cant help it if people are passionate about how much the ps4 outsells the other consoles. seems like most people have come around to the idea that its not the second coming of the ps2 anymore though.. which is good. because that crap was getting absolutely ridiculous. does anybody else remember that? it was insane.
