So, we`ll get a remaster of Drive Club and The Order: 1886 when they are familiar enough with the PS4 to have them in 60fps?

No amount of familiarity will help them make those games 60fps

They need new hardware for that

Just like TLOU needed new hardware

Then Uncharted 4 will certainly not be 60fps...

The only good thing i find about hd versions is the fact that if the game is rare, you can have it cheaper and the new version will not be rare..
But the fact that it has better visual or whatever, i frankly don't fucking care.. ( and they should make retrocompatibility.. it always was this way and is simple to make ).

There aren't many consoles that are actually backwards compatible.  And there are reasons for that.

I don't know, but most of my consoles are backward compatible ( ps1, ps2, ps3, wii, wii u, ds, etc.. )

PS1 is backwards compatible with what?

With neogeo games.

" Quite a few systems missing from this list. "

Yes, but most of the precedent gen were backwards compatibles.

What you guys don´t get is this: these releases are AWESOME to people who missed the games the first time, they now have a second chance to play it. Like Wii owners who lost GTA5, now they have an excuse to play it on the PS4, after all, it is even better.

To the fans, it is more than amazing: I can revisit my favorite game in a better, more pure and well done form.

To the developers, it is perfect, because it is a fast way to deliver a product and make some money, which ensures financial health and, more important, the devs jobs, bread on the table.

And, to the people that are not interested in these games, guess what? Don´t freaking buy it, it is a choice, so, it is awesome to them as well, after all, how cool is that? That we can choose what to buy and play, what a world!

So, it is win-win all around.

They are not always bad, but is also not always good.

The remake make sense if they are bringing or remaking an old game or something very hard to find, or they are collecting some old group of games, so did not have problems with the ICO collection or the Halo anniversary one, if it a very recent game is not good, the console is still around and they are taking advantage of the lack of backwards compatibility to squeeze money from your wallet.

The other problem is that the developer is not creating something new, they are diverting funds to the port/remake project instead of putting all their efforts on a new one, they are avoiding risks and taking more time to provide a new (and maybe better) experience.

Is not black and white, they are cool, or they suck. Some are cool but others suck, and too many of those are a sympthom that the industry is too risk adverse which affects creativity, now we are not getting yearly sequels of some games, we are getting the SAME game a year later with just a little more polish and that is even worse than the previous situation.

I've already said numerous times that it probably won't. ND are wizards, but only human wizards.

I dont care. Ill get The Order: 1886 and have a blast. 60fps or not...

Remember when we got a TLoU remaster for the PS3 running at 60 fps?  Me either.  That's because it is running on a next gen system.

I don't understand why you are trying to make it look like a bad thing.

Because it is a bad thing. If we keep buying them, then more and more of them will be made...
