Except the last two gens prove that statement to be nothing but dreams, PS3 was most powerfull and PS4 is BOTH.  And you are forgettign sony is a hardware company, MS will never out do them in that department.

Translation - I can't wait to skip this gen like a bad nightmare and hope to god that the next Xbox wins!  That way I can act like I used to in 2011 and 2012 instead of eating this humble pie!   Awe well, I still have English speaking countries to look forward to buying my box and they're all that matters anyways!!    :)

While they may have put out the ad, I'm pretty sure they are going to wait a year or two to see how this gen plays out before committing to next gen.  Especially, if they struggle to overtake the Wii U this year and next.  Plus, they may start getting a huge rumble from investors about spinning off/selling the Xbox division, instead of the smaller ones they have in the past.
