LOL, Im not sure why you would buy the U($60) version if you can buy the Sony version for much cheaper. Ive seen Sony and MS versions of WD for $30 -$40 and the PC version for $20. I can understand waiting(to see if the U version is superior) but if you find out the PS3 version is superior(probably looks better, will have all DLC and a larger community), will you still buy the U version?

For several reasons, I never buy ANY DLC so there is no point if any of the versions have it or not (but I do hope that they might include some on the disc), I almost never play online and when I do my friends are on Wii U, so the community size does not matter too much as long as my friends are available, I HATE trophies they ruin games for me they take out the worst of my ODC and I stop having fun with the games and just play them to get the stupid fake rewards, that is part of the reason I have not played anything on my PS3 for the last 4 months (till this week when I started a game from my backlog).

For me, by default the Wii U version is already superior to the PS3 one so I will still buy it instead. The price does not affect me at all, I am lacking time not money at the moment, actually I am trying to but less games this year to keep my backlog from overwhelming me, so I am having a lot of extra cash and I don't mind spending it on WD for Wii U.

They should have released it this month or next...

lol, you have nothing to worry about. It's going to sell like dog poop.

At least the Assassin's Creed games on the Wii U launched roughly at the same time as the other versions, most of the Watch Dogs audience has already been burned by the game by now.

Fixed.

Yea... I mean I want 3rd party support, but definitely not this kind. Besides the game is already being labeled overhyped and underwhelming.

Overhyped and underwhelming does not mean bad. If you are waiting for too much because of the hype, yes at the end you will get overhyped and underwhelmed but you still can have a lot of fun, the game has a good rating, good mechanics and looks very good, not everything has to be perfect to be available on the console, but this one is good and it should be available to more people.

I am sorry, you were convincing all the way until the bolded.

Nintendo uploaded a CGI trailer and it looks really good, but again it is CGI. Ubi said before they delayed the Wii U version that it will look between last gen and current gen visually. Similar to AC4. If that is the case then thats great not a disappointment.

A larger community? Im not really going to spend my time online, unless I really like it. Even then there will still be a presence as long as it isnt as bad as Splinter Cell Blacklist was.

DLC? I am not a big fan of DLC anyways. I feel like it is bad for the industry.

As in terms of money. I really do not mind since I would like to support Ubi and thr Wii U.

I am just basing this off of most mulitplat games preforming worse on in the PS3/360/U. AC4 had the same visuals as PS3/360 with a lower framerate. Batman 2 and 3 as well as AC3 were not as good as their PS360 counterparts. Keep in mind it was a question that if it preforms worse would he still buy it at 60 over a better version all around at 30-40.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

No company in this world wants their products to be late. Ubisoft didn't want WD to be late on WiiU. It was a necessary and feasible compromise at the time. If the sales are good they will put more effort into releasing the next game on time.

No company will copy uneconomical decisions of another company.

DLC and unfinished games are very good for business, thats why everyone is doing it.

They kind of did actually. They had 2 choices: Delay all versions of the game to finish them all at once, or focus on the other versions and pretty much send the Wii U version to die.

They delayed Rayman Legends Wii U to finish other versions. But they delayed Wii U to finish other versions first. So why didnt they release Rayman Legends U first and then released the others. You know whats funny is that the Wii U version sold the second best losing only to a console with 10 times the install base. It beat out the PS4 and XB1 versions.

Believe it or not, a lot of people wanted the Wii U version of Watch Dogs but not anymore because either they have it, are not interested, or got pushed away because of reviews. Ubidoft shouldnt have delayed it. Delay all versions for another month but finish them on time. They could have really had a hit with Watch Dogs U.

You're only supporting everything I said. WD as Rayman was a compromise beause the other consoles are more important. IF, and that's a big if, WD sells very good on Wii U they will put more effort into it.

But it's all hypothetical. Watch Dogs will not sell well on Wii U. It was the correct business decision to delay it in favor of the other consoles. There are next to no lost sales because of the delay.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Lets say this, if it sells 400k on Wii U. Pretty much guarantee Ubisoft will increase support on Wii U again

Where's the biggest gap in the Wii U's upcoming release schedule? If Ubisoft was serious about selling copies on the Wii U they would drop it in that time period to maximize sales potential. I was day 1 in the beginning, then thought I would boycott it completely, now I'm back to at least picking it up.

When I am a child, creating, I am not creating a game. I am in the game. The game is not for children, it is for me. It is for an adult who still has a character of a child."
