No company in this world wants their products to be late. Ubisoft didn't want WD to be late on WiiU. It was a necessary and feasible compromise at the time. If the sales are good they will put more effort into releasing the next game on time.

No company will copy uneconomical decisions of another company.

DLC and unfinished games are very good for business, thats why everyone is doing it.

They kind of did actually. They had 2 choices: Delay all versions of the game to finish them all at once, or focus on the other versions and pretty much send the Wii U version to die.

They delayed Rayman Legends Wii U to finish other versions. But they delayed Wii U to finish other versions first. So why didnt they release Rayman Legends U first and then released the others. You know whats funny is that the Wii U version sold the second best losing only to a console with 10 times the install base. It beat out the PS4 and XB1 versions.

Believe it or not, a lot of people wanted the Wii U version of Watch Dogs but not anymore because either they have it, are not interested, or got pushed away because of reviews. Ubidoft shouldnt have delayed it. Delay all versions for another month but finish them on time. They could have really had a hit with Watch Dogs U.

You're only supporting everything I said. WD as Rayman was a compromise beause the other consoles are more important. IF, and that's a big if, WD sells very good on Wii U they will put more effort into it.

But it's all hypothetical. Watch Dogs will not sell well on Wii U. It was the correct business decision to delay it in favor of the other consoles. There are next to no lost sales because of the delay.
