Looks that way. We've already seen male and female variants for Wii Fit Trainer and Villager. Little Mac has his pink sweatshirt and another pair of shorts too. Link has his Skyward Sword tunic.

Well, someone already explained why he has the suit (guess it's from an older game) but let's face it.... over half of Smash Bros. sales are in America so it makes sense!
