Kirby Fighters Z (and DeDeDe's Drum Dash Z) announced for Japan (3DS DL)

KFZ: There's brand new levels to fight in, and new power-ups (Bell and Beetle)

DDDZ: 14 levels total, more elaborate (big gong to hit, you have to jump backwards, etc...). There's also trophees to unlock.

Kirby Fighters Z comes out on July 23 in Japan, for 750 Yens.

DeDeDe's Drum Dash Z comes out on July 23 in Japan, for 750 Yens.

Both these were modes in the latest kirby game if my memory doesn't fool me.So what's the real point of these releases?Will they be cheap eshop games?Or expand from their origins and be full retail titles?

Pretty cool, I'd get them. Didn't pick up Triple Deluxe.

Probably cheap Eshop games. 750 Yen is about $7.

Honestly, I was hoping someone would argue that there's different gameplay.  I would have commented about the Nintendo fans who called Playstation All Stars a SSB clone despite having completely different gameplay and mechanics.
