How could you, when there is only a ps4 picture being compared to nothing

Comparing cutscene screens is as pointless as ever (other than some touching up they've been mostly left unchanged) but the gameplay shot in impressive.

The jump from 720p/30fps to 1080p/60fps will of course pose the most significant improvement, but the upgraded character models, textures, shadows, AA and filtering will be nice additions.

Naughty Dog cut scenes aren't pre-rendered! Pre-rendering just means they are video, that's not right

What they do is stick in a higher resolution character model and have all the animations pre-scripted, not pre-rendered

So with the PS4 version, I believe they are sticking the higher resolution models in the actual gameplay

Personally, I'm on the fence, if it wasn't such as amazing game I'd be pissed, but I kind of feel the benefit of all that random DLC I got with my pre-order and my season pass is somewhat lost. But Naughty Dog can be forgiven

as expected. no huge improvements...

Huh, no... TLOU does have pre-rendered cutscenes. They use what you're saying, but they are indeed VIDEO files being played. It's just in-engine instead of typical CGI

That's a pre-rendered cutscene.

Looks the exact same. This just proves you shouldn't announce a remaster after 7 months. If you played tlou on ps3, then you have essentially PLAYED IT. The way ND talked it up, I expected more.

It's a good thing then that roughly a third of the ps4 userbase is ex-box owners. I lost my ps3 copy, and I've been wanting to play it recently. Guess I'll buy this version when I do.

Its a like a whoooole new game!

Looks exactly the same to me.
