Forums - Nintendo - Itagaki not worried about Devil’s Third finding an audience on Wii U

It'll should sell about 500,000, maybe more depending on marketing and advertising.

Dat multiplayer.

If they can market it like crazy, just having videos of the multiplayer will sell people. Those gifs in the op have sold me.

They also said that they would polish it, so that's a plus.

Glad you like dude. I'm hyped too

I'm licking my lips. I'm definitely gettin this.

They should be cause otherwise it might be their last AAA game that they ever make just like Last Story is with Mistwalker ...

Does that really look like a AAA game to you?

The Last Story wasn't AAA and was fairly successful selling 600,000 copies with limited releases outside of japan. We just let fatslob believe what he wants to believe. It is also one of XSeeds most successful titles ever (still talking about The Last Story obviously). Why would we hate for a repeat of that exactly?

Devil's Third appears more as an A game to me. It doesn't seem to have a huge budget, but the mutiplayer looks extremely fun to me eitherway.

Nope I mean you.... Though I can see how you'd think I mean me.

The multiplayer looks siiiiick. I do like multiplayer shooters and the 3rd person aspect along with the melee makes me want this bad. I hope it succeeds otherwise we're our own worst enemy

When it comes to the game, its not the quantity, but the quality that matters.
When it comes to the players, its not the quality, but the quantity that matters.

Devil's Third is currently pegged by impressions to fail in both of the above categories, but if they give it another year in development and polish it to max WiiU can handle... could be another good exclusive for the WiiU.

I'll definitely be getting this! I will try to convince a couple friends too. The multiplayer looks damn fun
