Destiny Expansion Pass

Expand your Destiny adventure with brand-new story missions, cooperative activities, competitive multiplayer arenas, and all wealth of all new weapons, armor, and gear to earn. The Destiny Expansion Pass includes Destiny Expansion I: The Dark Below and Destiny Expansion II: House of Wolves. In The Dark Below, you’ll discover an ancient tomb has been unsealed. Beneath the surface of the Moon, a dark god has answered centuries of prayer, and a dark army has risen. Explore the true depths of the Hellmouth. Stop the dark Hive ritual and survive.

As an added bonus for PlayStation platforms, the Destiny Expansion pass will also include additional exclusive content for Expansion I and II that will remain exclusive until at least Fall of 2015.

so do you think that this is going to be this gens timed dlc?

Seems like its just the GTA/CoD type timed DLC type of deal.

LOL @ announcing all of this and expansions already before the fucking beta is even out though.

Oh, really?  Looking it up now.

i put the link in the op  forgot to put it in there at first

not sure i really see the difference.

..basically they're just treating dlc like a substantial product instead of an afterthough.  the way dlc is these days i'd say it can be rightlyfully treated as such.

here.  world of warcraft expansion pack pre-order bonus.  same thing.

Yes and as a Sony fan I absolutely hate it. Sure it helps hardware sales, but of all the ways to invest their money, that's the worst for me at least as we get no new games, no exclusive games, just timed stuff and I can always wait so it doesn't affect me positively at all. Words cannot express how much I dislike this kind of practise.

Creating? No. Paying for? Yes. It's surprising how little the term "moneyhatting" and its associated disparaging remarks get tossed around here now that the other team is doing gobs of it.

I don't have a problem with DLC at all, as long as the base game has enough to justify the cost, no problems at all... but I do understand why some people get a bit peeved when they see DLC before they even know what the game is about.
