yeah, I definteley think that for the most part people are more level headed and willing to listen than at other sites. It creates a friendlier environment IMO

I can actually argue with you twesterm but I don ’ t want to be banned so you win.
The mods do a great job of keeping the community a nice place to discuss but I think the lack of Nintendo hate comes from the fact that the sales numbers are right there. No one can deny whats on the front page.
So from the sales numbers the community has raw facts to build on for our discussions. This also draws posts referring to any other sales information and predictions people see on the web. Which in turn generates a tremendous amount of knowledge in the community. I think many of the regulars like The Source are better than the professional analysts.
In the future the Prediction league could tap into this social resource to provide very insightful projections.
And we all kick ass, don't foget to add that.
Final* Word on Game Delays:
The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.
Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.
Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.

The biggest thing that separates VG Chartz is numbers. I know thats obvious but here's what I mean people that have a passion for game can see how there stuffs doing. Where as it use to be anything that wasn't in the top 10 you couldn't find to many stats on. You couldn't try to track trends your self you had to speculate. The number are a tool for measurement and the betting thing here kinda lets you put your money where your mouth is. (talk to kingofwale and sorika about other betting as we'll) Also for me over at IGN they seem to rely more on the news they have at hand (within IGN) as IGN is a news site. Here in these forms people seem to find news faster and sooner and post it.
