The mods do a great job of keeping the community a nice place to discuss but I think the lack of Nintendo hate comes from the fact that the sales numbers are right there. No one can deny whats on the front page.
So from the sales numbers the community has raw facts to build on for our discussions. This also draws posts referring to any other sales information and predictions people see on the web. Which in turn generates a tremendous amount of knowledge in the community. I think many of the regulars like The Source are better than the professional analysts.
In the future the Prediction league could tap into this social resource to provide very insightful projections.
And we all kick ass, don't foget to add that.
Final* Word on Game Delays:
The game will not be any better or include more content then planned. Any commnets that say so are just PR hogwash to make you feel better for having to wait.
Delays are due to lack of proper resources, skill, or adequate planning by the developer.
Do be thankful that they have enough respect for you to delay the game and maintain its intended level of quality.
