pretty sure KH3 was only announced last year just to finally shut people up about it. since they were set to re-unveil FF XV at the biggest western event in the industry they figured they'd take the opportunity to prove the existence of KH3 (which is of course a really big series in the west, or at least it was).

i'm not sure if any serious work is going to get done on KH3 until FF XV is finished.  it depends on how involved Nomura is with the Osaka team, since Nomura is in Tokyo still working on FF.  i mean he could be skyping with them every day going over stuff or they could just send him emails every few weeks and he says "yeah sure" or whatever.

and not showing any FF XV at E3 this year was a terrible decision and if it's not at TGS either then something is very wrong. 

They are called vaporware. Seriously, if your gaming habits depend on S-E's output nowadays, you may as well find a new hobby. Gone are the days of Squaresoft all thanks to Sakaguchi's failed movie. Seriously, Squaresoft was the greatest developer of all time. Their ps1 output was amazing.

I used to pick up anything with Squaresoft written on the box and that's how I discovered Chrono Cross, Xenogears and Vagrant story. Those games are even better than the final fantasies and kingdom Hearts.

Can someone explain me what is the difference between FINAL FANTASY XV and FINAL FANTASY versus XIII?

Japanese developers love taking forever to make games. The wait for a new Persona, Kingdom Hearts, The Last Guardian and Final Fantasy takes forever. If only they were as easy to make as Mobile games.

same game.  Final Fantasy Versus XIII was re-titled Final Fantasy XV a few years after development started.  (although we didn't know that until E3 last year.)

Square enix is narrow minded as fuck. Everyone know their franchise have huge success in Europe. But thanks to... some kind of magical trick, they seem to don't care about it. You want proof ? Kindgom hearts franchise sold the best in europe and America. Where did Square Enix release their ultimate version of the games ? Japan. Logic. Square Enix are constantly in touch with their japanese consumers but not with their other contry consumers. They make huge event for japanese people, almost none in Europe and America.. In other word, they don't know that everyone in the world is waiting for their game that much. That seem crazy, but it seems to be the case.

Release a huge petition that you want KH3 and FFXV badly, make millions people sign it and submit it to SE. I'm pretty sure the games would come way faster. At least, I believe. I've learned to be cautious with SE.

They're both being ported to PS5 as we speak
