At this rate everything is looking pretty bad. To me there are only a few of Vita games in the horizon that I want to buy which is quite sad. No I am not talking about ports and indies. I understand Sony is in a financial pickle and they want to push PS4 as hard as they can, but they shouldn't have subtly killed off Vita like that. I'm sure they could still find some way to sell it, but that ship has probably sailed long ago. Right now I'm only looking forward to Gravity Rush 2, Freedom Wars, and Digimon. That has got to be really sad. All of the Vita games I have bought this year are from Japan so that tells the story about support outside of Japan. Right now, Vita is lucky to reach 15M. It's probably going to scrape 10M this year and countinue to sell about 2M ayear until Sony chooses to kill it off. So it could end up a little more than 15-17M. It's sad because it had a lot of goddamned potential.Even the Wii U, which is still doing lightyears better on the software side is moving hardware finally. I actually think Wii U can turn it around now due to Nintendo pushing it with popular first party games. Vita however is losing support from Sony which probably looks at it as a companion device. Whenever they speak about it now there is no excitement. So what do you think it'll end up with now?

I mean duh. I just looked at the Vita's sales over time and it is clear that at the very least it will sell 16m (And that is the 100% worst case scenario). At this stage 20m looks like a safe bet.

It'll hit about 20Mil if the Gen is shorter than last, If it lasts as long as Gen 7 though, I could see it hitting 30-40mil. Price drops and bundles will help it reach those numbers. However, very many people will probably disagree with me

It's definitely a possibility, but I don't know at this point. I sure hope it does. It really is quite a capable handheld. I don't know why Americans shun it the way they do.

Maybe, If sony quit sucking cock when it comes to their handheld, it will sell well and have respectable sales but if Sony continues to send confusing messages as to what it wants to do with the poor handheld, it wont sell very much although with japan, it might be able to squeeze 15 million

Maybe ... It is possible considering that the vita has some relevance in Japan.

As long as the Vita is around for atleast three, maybe four more years, then it should reach 15m.  I'm doubting it hits 20m.

Playstation TV was rebranded to not have the Vita name in the US, so no idea if it's going to sell well or not.  It's going to sell better than it would being named PS Vita TV though, that's for sure.

I highly doubt it. Sony doesn't seem to be pushing at all with the Vita, as they seem to be purely focused on the PS4. Who knows, if Sony starts to make better decisions with the Vita, maybe, but until then, I'm doubtful.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

The vita tv in japan is getting a name change to ps tv O.o

OT: 15mil will be easy, though i still think its overtracked on vgc (not by alot, just a couple 100k)

It will at least beat the Gamecube. But Sony really needs to take some risks with it. The PS4 will do fine so why can't they get some of their developers to make stuff for it? More stuff like Tearaway and Killzone Mercernary would be nice
