You do know that animals are suffering for a lot more than just being eaten, right? The biggest ones would be medical experiments and animals driven out of their environment because of the human need for more room and resources for our industries.

You are currently reaping the positive effects  of all these things and are hypocritically telling other people to not eat them.

And what would be the gain of animals thriving? The sad truth is that if we don't kill animals, they would kill us.

I never said that wasn't wrong either, because it is very wrong. We need to stop that as well, but we need to stop 1 or the other first because humans just aren't adapting. This is why the world is in such bad condition compared to let's say 100 years ago. Our ozone is depleting because we're lazy.

They wont kill us. They know not to come into our areas because it's unsafe. That's different then, if an animal tries to kill you and you kill it then it's self defense.

If it wasn't for our use of animals as test subjects humanity might've already been wiped out completely by plagues and other sicknesses.

I'll make a deal with you. I will stop eating animals and treating them as things if you tell them to not bite, poison, harass or infect me with deadly sicknesses. If you managed to do that I will personally burn all meats in my home and start working in an animal shelter. I will never agree to a onesided non-aggression pact.

Not all animals are harmless. Some are just assholes that kill because they want to or don't know any better. Just like humans.

Fishes are animals. I dont understand how someone can feel so strongly about killing something to eat it, but doesnt care if it is a fish because they "dont like fish".
