Forums - Gaming - The Rate-A-Game Game

A simple little game. Here are the rules:

- In each of your posts you must request a new game that you want someone to post a review/review score for

- In each of your posts you must post a review/review score for the game the previous poster requested

- Each review must be accompanied by at least two pros and two cons

- If the game is multiplatform, note the platform you're asking the review for

Sample

Sonic Heroes - PC - 8/10

+ Great graphics that still look good to this day

+ Unique gameplay that offers more for everyone compared to a traditional Sonic game

- You'll frequently have to deal with  somewhat sloppy and slippery controls

- The game forces you to play through its stages 4 times in order to unlock the Last Story

I want someone to review: New Super Mario Bros. U (Wii U)

Around the Network

New Super Mario Bros. U - Wii U - 8/10

+ Levels are cleverly designed, and fun to revisit.
+ Good use of the Gamepad. I had a lot of fun helping and messing with my fellow players.
- Backgrounds and textures overall lack detail.
- The ability to save after each level had to be unlocked.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (which platform? gonna go with Wii) 9/10

+ good implementation of motion controls, killing enemies gives a satisfying feeling.
+ vast open world, with lots of things to explore and loveable attention to detail.

- swinging the remote around all the time may be tiring
- graphics didn't age too well compared to other Zelda entries, they're only subpar by todays standards

I want someone to review Metal Gear Solid 3

Lyrics: He He He He Ha Ha Ha!

Metal Gear Solid 3: 10/10 (second favorite game of all time for me)

+Amazing story that is mostly self-contained due to being a prequel so easy to understand for newcomers
+Inventive bosses that all challenge you in a different way including my favorite all-time boss, the End
+fun survival mechanics that don't get annoying
+ends on a super high note with some of the best sequences in the whole series

-codecs get overly wordy (seriously just skip them and watch the actual cutscenes)
-cqc can be clunky sometimes and cause you to do something you don't want
-the ladder

I wish for...Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze!
