I'm talking 90+ meta, Halo 3 status, universal aclaim.
I'm not counting the halo collection and phantom dust for obvious reasons, and I think sunset overdrive is out this year because it's only aim is to be fun (and insomniac's recent form) so Forza Horizon 2 then(Also on 360 but we can ignore that)? or Quantum break?

I want to say Scalebound but it seems critics don't like Platnium Games as much as I do and if Remedy manages to match Max Payne with Quantum Break then they have a fair chance too. Insomniac hasn't really been too stellar lately, but Sunset Overdrive does look pretty great so maybe. The safest bet so far is Halo 5.
If Quantum Break comes out before Halo 5, that's the game to beat. Otherwise, Halo 5 will be the first masterpiece.And MS... buy Remedy for gods sake!
Halo 5 will probably get closest to the Halo experience.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
I believe that Quantum Break could do it but Halo 5 seems like a safer bet.

Agreed MS would be stupid not to buy them at this point.
