I own it on ps3 and I just preordered TLoU Remastered. It's more worth it for me, though, bc I held off on all the DLC.

I don't understand how they can give people upgrade options outside of their digital purchases. They can't retroactively give people who bought a new physical copy a digital code like with the other upgrade options.
I bought the ps3 version and will be buying the remastered for my ps4. For me (and apparently other based off the amount of awards) the game was amazing and i have just recently started to do another play thru but stopped instantly when i heard about the remastered version.
Cant wait to play thru with improved graphics and all the DLC.
You should make a poll for this thread for people buying TLoU remastered:
Buying--never bought TLoU
Buying--bought ps3 version with the DLC
Buying--bought ps3 version but NOT the DLC
Not buying
Or something along those lines. Or not. That's fine too. :)

True, this is another problem. They could offer an upgrade program for people who owned the digital version of the game, but then there would be an uproar from physical version owners.
And if they would offer upgrades for everyone, we all know that a shit ton of people would take advantage of it by buying used PS3 TLoU's.
So it is happening...PS4 preorder.
Greatness Awaits!

Yes they can they already did it on many launch titles, just requires you to have the PS3 disk in the PS4 to play the digital copy. The System is already in place and they could use it again.
If there is an upgrade deal, it is NOT going to be a $10 upgrade. I would say, if you bough the digital PS3 version, give $10-$15 of the digital PS4 version for "trading-in" the digital version.
If they bought the retail version, trade it in for $10-$15 at Gamestop/Amazon.
If $50 is too much to pay for a game that you already played, then just wait a few months for the price to drop.

Are you sure?
I thought people are referring to this, and they needed digital codes for it.

No it's true. PS3 games do read in the PS4 drive for this fucntion. Injsutice Gods amoung us did it.

would you sell your game you prbably spent $75 on just 1 year ago on a $20 or less trade/cash value?
I really don't see how Sony can't implement the "play off the ps3 disk in the ps4" like they did with some of the launch games. Also. TLOU basically sells the same price on ps3 & ps4 with the same contents other than the visual upgrades. TLOU on the PS3 still holds tons of value.. which makes no sense to just abandon those that picked it up on last gen. But i guess if its " we already got a sale from you, tough love, buy again" mentality, then sorry.. i'll just hold on to what i got. just sucks i wont be playing it on the ps4.
Man.. I hate it when your girl has to leave my place to come back to you..
