Forums - Gaming - As a Wii U owner from launch, I feel ripped off by Nintendo...

I love the fact that I got a battery included. Now if I got the small one, I dont know. Will have to look into that.

Since I just received my Wii U yesterday, if I got the same old one like yours, then you dont need to feel as bad.

Both 3 WiiU... one at launch - the Zelda one - and the Super Mario Mega bundle.

All have same battery!

Switch!!!

I. was looking to wait until the larger battery became the standard, but I found out I'd have to wait a long time, so I bought a system when DK Tropical Freeze came out. Haven't regretted it, but Nintendo not making friends this way. Still, they are giving all the peripherals from the premium pack away for free now, so they have to make a little money on the enthusiasts that want the best somehow.

Sorry, double post, too dumb to know how to delete.

You got the small one. None of the systems sold as new or refurbished comes with the large battery. That's strictly a luxury upgrade for people who don't take any breaks while playing, or can't be bothered to play with a cord attached to the gamepad.

Ah ok, understood. Then I will stick with the smaller one. makes the pad lighter anyways.

Oh, and of course now I feel ripped off ;)

So 2250 mAh is the big one? I believe my phone has a better battery... I always knew Nintendo was cheap, but this cheap? I'm very happy that I've decided to wait with my WiiU purchase.

How much did your phone cost?

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

At least it is a standard rechargeable controller, some other controller can't do that lol

Common Nintendo is for kids. They can't make them poor bastards hold a full size battery,
