So you count TLOU DLC but not Halo's? Also there's Halo 5 beta and Halo Nightfall

there I changed Halo 4 to Goty edition

Then how about Halo 2 and Halo 3 DLC?

really don't feel like dat research lol at this point I should hope you get the complete game for a game that's over half a decade old and a game that IS a decade old

So whats the point of this thread if you didn't want to get the full facts? Seems like you were just BSing with the Halo side. Which shows an agenda.

I belive that when most people talk value, they don't talk about what one game is priced on PS compared to what the other game is priced on Xbox, I think they talk about the amount of playtime you'll get out of the game. If we go by that definition of value then Halo: MCC wins (I assume, since it's four games vs one).

That should be the only definition of value. You get exponancially more for your money. This shouldn't even be up for descussion. 4 games vs 1. The end.

Surely by that logic, RPGs are always better value for money than anything else though?

You can't quantify value. It's purely subjective, 4 games someone isn't interested in, in one compilation, isn't as good value as Daytona USA on PSN/XBL to someone who loves Daytona USA.

Surely by your logic, games like Little Big Planet and anything with a level creator offer by far the best value for money???

Quality over quantity. Halo is just another of millions of other shooters. Find myself not even really paying attention when playing games like it

I'm not Halo's biggest fan, but to be fair to Halo, it was very unique as far as console shooters go back in 2001. So even if it is "just another of millions of shooters" now, they're for the most part actually a result of Halo, rather than the other way around. Don't get me wrong, Halo wasn't the first console FPS, but it was the first one to make a real stamp.

MCC isnt even remastering 3 or 4. 2 is getting a remaster. 1 (CE) should be remastered too from 360 version to xone version. So three upressed 360 games and one fully remastered game. Depending on the quality of TLOU remastered, for all the content you get, and the feels, more value in my opinion.

I would prefer playing TLoU, but the Masterchief Collection obviously has a better value IMO.

I'd say the MCC, 3 enchanced ports and a remake > 1 enchanced port.

No offense but Halo collection is easily the better value. I get 4 games + all the dlc for those 4 games + Halo Nightfall + The Halo 5 Beta (although that would be free regardless) I don't quite see how you can see The Last of Us as a better value.

I Waśt interested in Halo anymore since the disappointed 3, but the idéa of playing halo 1+ halo 2 remake makes me want This colleçtion,

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

MCC 4 games, 100 maps, dedicated servers for all multi, halo 5 beta, and halo nightfall

Tlou 1 game, all dlc

Easy choice for me
