Forums - Nintendo - Wii U 2013 lineup vs 2015

Which Year was Better?

2013 19 11.95%

2015 140 88.05%

Total:159

2015 and it's not even close. Xenoblade and Zelda are possibly the best games (for me) that the system (and possibly the generation) will see. Add in promising titles like Splatoon, Mario Maker, Star Fox and others and well... SM3DW and WWHD can only do so much.

Love how 2014 gets no mention

To be honest the only big releases were Tropical Freeze, MK8, Captain Toad, Bayonetta 2 Hyrule Warriors, and Smash

Any ones I missed?

I enjoyed the lineup of 2013 but I think we haven't seen all of 2015. There will be delays but I think 2015 is going to be a great year. Greater than 2013!

I don't hate Microsoft, I don't hate PC,
I don't prefer Sony, I don't prefer Nintendo.
...Ok, I love Nintendo but this is something about tolerance, ok?

I'm a gamer with one of the greatest hobbies and I want to share this greatness with everyone.

Pikmin 3 and Super Mario 3D World are wonderful games, but they're not enough to counter Zelda, X, Star Fox, Splatoon, and whatever other games that come out in 2015 we don't know about yet.

Do you guys believe the next Fatal Frame will release in 2015 or 2016?

I feel like this year's got a decent lineup as well, but 2015 takes the cake for me personally :)

Current Consoles: Gaming PC, Wii U, 3DS

Can't believe all these people voting 2015.

Super Mario 3D World had Cat Mario!

And more importantly... Cat Bowser... SEVERAL OF THEM!!!!!!11

/Thread!

Being serious, they could be quite close, but for me 2013 pips it at the moment. I'd waited a decade for a new Pikmin, Lego City Undercover is my favourite Lego game. Wonderful 101 was wonderful and contrary to popular opinion, I thought Sonic Lost World was great. 3D World is about as close to perfect as we've seen a Nintendo game in a long time (as great as Mario Kart is, there are still "if only this was better/different" aspects to it.)

So yeah, as it is, I think 2013 will be the better year. Plenty of time for 2015 to surprise me though.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Not really. Shovel Knight, Oddworld New and Tastey and a couple other smaller but still high profile games are coming out though.

2015. It's true what Reggie said, the Wii U hasn't seen its best year yet!

Yep.

Pretty much this. X, Zelda and Mario Maker (Along with Bayonetta2 and Mario 3d World) are probably the games that will define the system from my perspective.
