Oh dear this isn't good, hope he recovers.
This news is truly a tragedy for the video game industry. The outlook for this type of cancer is terrible; even when found early. Thankfully he's younger (54) than those generally diagnosed with the disease and is in good shape. Hopefully this means he'll live longer than others who had this removed.
Any fan of video games should watch this speech of his.
