Wow! I didn't realize it was doing better than Wii Sports and Wii Play in Japan.
Well, it does have a bigger installed base to sell to. Still extremely impressive of course.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)
Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases
360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak
PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
Maybe the game can help over weight video game players lose some pounds.
I tried to do some math (I'm very rusty, 15 years since high school, so it might not be 100% correct) and if the sales stay the same as this week, Wii Fit would reach 70% attach rate in about 170 weeks.
ok : ) we'll check back in a little over 3 years to see if WiiFit has reached that. : )
