I know I can't be the only one that thinks this. I've seen several videos and still don't understand what you do, except explore the world.

Can anyone be so kind and explain to me what do you actually do in this game, besides explore.

To get to the centre of the universe I think is the vague goal, apparently the planets get more hostile and strange the closer to the centre you get. The rest is just to explore, upgrade your ship, leave your mark on the universe

seriously? if thats the case then that sounds awesome. 

Explore!!!! It looks like you get credit for discovering new planets and maybe even new creatures. You also need to upgrade your ship to perhaps get to farther planets.

Apparently, from what I've learned from that E3 Gamespot interview, there is some malevolent force at work in the galaxy, but they haven't disclosed it yet.

I'm not sure, but the game looks really fun.
