I think the Mario series would be great for sports. Nintendo has made tons Mario-themed sports game already, and it probably isn't that hard to make remakes of those. They could use the Wii series too.

ineed. Ken Griffy Jr Baseball is still my favourite baseball game. Sadly second best is a facebook one WGT Baseball.

I actually wanted to bust out my N64 to play the N64 version recently.  Perhaps I will after I move into my new house and get an old school game room setup there.
