Best optional part in a game?

Hitting Cucoo's in Zelda 14 100.00%

Total:14

Unlocking all Light Jak's powers (regeneration, time manipulation, flight, and force fields) and feeling like a God.

Getting the master sword in Twilight Princess and being able to turn into a wolf when ever.

The final battle cutscenes in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. I still get chills everytime I see that scene, even after 6 playthroughs.

The opening of Resident Evil 4 where you have to fight off the villagers. The whole sequence is intense and brimming with atmosphere. Sets the stage perfectly for the rest of the game.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

I don't want to spoil it, but there's a scene in Baten Kaitos Origins that wins hands down for me. The game has you not as the main character, but as a guardian spirit living inside the main character. You have to talk to the main character throughout the game, and how well you fight depends on your relationship with the main character. At one point, there's a really climactic, intimate moment between you and the main character, and I've never felt as close to a fictional character as I did at that moment.

The first level of FZERO on SNES, and the theme song on this race is also amazing.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Ratchet on Planet Snivelak, Thug HQ. Perfect atmosphere and music.

The whole train segment on Uncharted 2.

Driver 1, when everyone was at Tanner's apartment, freaking out trying to know who was the rat.

Max Payne 2, where the cleaner starts playing Late Goodbye on the piano.

The endings of Zelda Skyward Sword and Paper Mario: TTYD.
Both really rememberable.

The (Spoilers) Sand Sea was awesome, but my first experience with it was ruined because I couldn't find the Pirate ship!

Still, it was one of the best moments in the Zelda series IMO!

Actually that happened to me too. I just skipped over Fi when she said to use dowsing. From then, I was like "WTF? How am I supposed to find an invisible ship?" despite having used dowsing several times before. I eventually checked a walkthrough and realized how stupid I was.

You guys are the reason why characters like Fi have to be so obnoxious about everything and exist in the first place.

Nah. He was probably so tired of Fi he just skipped through the text to get to the game!

I just think I wasn't paying attention for whatever reason. I remember finding her a lot more annoying than the ever overrated Navi, so it could be that I was just skipping. Regardless, until A Link Between Worlds came out, I was yet to beat a Zelda game without walkthroughs, though I came pretty close in Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword.

I had to use a walkthrough to find some warp places, and Master Ore's. The only required place I had to do was the Ice Dungeon in Lorule. It just confuses me so much! More than the Water Temple!
