Unless they bring back Adventure/Heroes/Shadow-style. That worked the best of any of them. But i sincerely doubt they're going to do that.

Heroes is one of the most underrated Sonic games. Everything's pretty much solid in that game, though it also has its fair share of issues.

Camera, reptititve level-design (that's what happens when you make a team based sonic), Last Story requirement.

Yeah. The repeated levels were pretty unneeded. The story was simple enough to not make the characters have to go thorugh the same stages. They only had to erase the team battles. (Those battles were poorly designed anyway..) Last Story would've been fine to me if they fixed the repeated stages.

No, no, no no no no. You guys got it all wrong. THe different teams represent difficulty level. Sonic team was moderate, Shadow's team was high difficulty and Amy's was easy difficulty. Choatix...was just some scavenger nonsense.  So no the game wasnt really repetitive. Camera could have been better but it was the best of the 3d Sonic games IMHO.

Who else totally abused Team Rose for the sake of getting all the Chaos Emeralds? Honestly took most of the challenge out of it.

but thats just it. you didnt HAVE to play as Team Rose. Thats like saying you have to play a game on easy, you dont. You could easily ignore her and play Sonic Team or Shadow team.

I preferred Team Sonic, ultimately (the added difficulty for Team Dark was mostly in the form of extra combat, and the combat was the game's only weakness). I'm just saying it was easier to get the Chaos Emeralds via Team Rose stages, because even if you screwed up the Emerald challenge, it was easy to set yourself up for another go.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

i agree. i was just saying the team Rose stuff is easly avoidable. hell i dont think i ever beat the game with Choatix

I always thought Sonic games were usually decent at best but I felt that with Generations they were on the right path so I would like to see a new game with the issues from Generations ironed out.

I just hope that they stick with something consistent for the upcoming Modern Sonic games. Anything that plays like Colors or Generations will do, so as long as they are just consistent if they're not planning to really innovate much.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I didn't really feel like Dark was much harder, honestly

. Rose was just a little easier and had way shorter levels.

I just want a sonic with modern visuals that plays like the megadrive games. Is that too much to ask for Sega?

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

I always found it strange how people like Adventures but dont like Heroes, Heroes was pretty much the Sonic portion of Adventures the entire game. Thats fantastic as pretty any portion where your NOT playing as Sonic in Adventure 1 and 2 is terrible.

Heroes is an really awesome game when it comes to colorful levels and lighthearted atmosphere/story, but the controls and camera are much worse than in the Adventure games!

Sonic needs to do one thing. Stay the way of games people loved. No parkour. No homing attack.

There are 3 types of sonic people like the most. Adventure for 3d and rush or sonic 2 for 2d.

Sonic legacy is dying and even fairly good games like lost world is being beaten for the fact that it's not generations or the others I've mentioned.

Boom can also be good but will also be overshadowed by past title's.

Honestly at times like this I want to go to Sega and kick them into shape.

Consoles: 3DS, Wii U, and Vita soon. Super Paper Mario fan.
