Forums - Gaming - Cross Gen is absolutely pointless.

I don't see the problem with it. They are still making money. And for Thief, PS3/360 sales counted for 32% of total sales so there's still a significant amount of money to be made from releasing on all 4 consoles.
I don't get what Ubisoft is doing though with releasing Assassin's Creed Comet only for the 360 and PS3.

Close to a million sales of a $60 is pointless? Remind me to never hire you for any company I run, ever.

it's all about the green baby!!!!!!!

900k+ extra units for Watch Dogs is pretty good!

Every publisher wants their games to be as big or bigger than Watch Dogs. The game will sell 1-2 million lifetime, which aint bad for cross gen.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Dude, where have you been for the last 25 years?  Cross gen games are nothing new, publishers and developers have been doing this since the SEGA Genesis started doing what Nintendon't.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

An extra hundred thousands sales never hurt anybody

It's pointless to make money? Oh if only!
