Forums - Gaming - Is Bayonetta 1 for me ?

So, I liked the first Devil May Cry like nobody else. Kamiya was in the team. Kamiya wasn't in the two next Devil May Cry and I did not like them. Kamiya's team has made Bayonetta so, do you think Bayonetta is for me ?

So far, I did not liked the random art direction in Bayo. Dmc 1 seems more inspired to me. But I heard that Bayo gameplay is very similar to the first DMC, is that true ?

I think the combat system in Bayonetta is even more complex and rewarding than Devil May Cry. I bet you'll really enjoy it, especially if you like Kamiya's early work. Just be sure to get it on X360 or WiiU, which is based on the 360 version.

Hope you enjoy it!

well er, probably.

Bayonetta is a polished version of Devil May Cry, so you'll definitely love it!

Buy Bayo 2 on Wii U and you get Bayo 1 for free. The ultimate deal for someone like you.

DMC is more inspired? You're joking right? Have you seen the angels in Bayonetta?

On topic: Yes, it's the best hack n slash game ever created.

I have played Devil May Cry HD collection and the new DmC and i can assure u Bayonetta was way better and a bit similar for u to enjoy. FYI A HUGE KAMIYA FAN HERE! Thinking about getting X1 for Scalebound.

I never played Bayonetta but I did play DMC so I am glad to hear the comparisons. I will definitely pick the game up, but probably after it goes down a bit in price as I have too many other games to play currently.

On a similar note, should one get this or Hyrule Warriors if they had to pick? Both look like button mashers to me...

From my perspective Bayonetta honestly looks more interesting, but of course I haven't actually had hands on time with Hyrule Warriors or anything, or any Dynasty Warriors games. But I've seen enough.
