Forums - Microsoft - Will Microsoft be exhausted for E3 2015?

E3 2015 they will show Halo 5, "reveal" Forza 6,  show a teaser for Gears, gameplay for Scalebound, PD, and Crackdown, and show off a CGI trailer or two of games for 2017 which they will then show at E3 2016 along with a slew of multiplats.

It will be solid, but it leaves little to the imagination.

E3 2014 was strong as a Gamed conference but weak as an Xbox conference. Next year will likely be the same. If you don't intend on already getting an X1, e3 2015 won't change your mind unless you're planning on waiting till 2017

What else happens E3 2015? I'd love to know. Tell me if anybody announced KOTOR 3 or shenmue 3 orrr the last guardian.

Seriously you have zero clue as to what microsoft have planned. They don't just stick to a formula and every E3 is different, if it wasn't we would still be sitting through kinect conferences.

Since this is a Microsoft thread that's what I'm talking about. The others are harder to predict since MS is only one that's rather predictable. We shall see though.

Obviously, I have zero idea hence why it's a prediction. Going by the last 5 or so E3s, I don't think they'll change much.

Sony and Nintendo are very unpredictable sincr they don't often milk their IPs as much and actually devote a good amount of resources to new IPs. For example, who knows when GT7 will get announced, will there be more Killzone? What's SP, QD, MM ETC working on since they're not sequels. It's very hard to say. MS is very obvious in comparison

No they won't be exhausted. They'll have Halo, Fable, Forza and Gears. Hmm Could have swore I saw that lineup before...lather, rinse and repeat..

Good god you're right I hadn't noticed... That's nuts, Media Molecule and Sony Bend will probably show new IP this year...

Judging by the last 5 E3's only one thing is set in stone and thats a COD gameplay demo. You're seriously going to tell me that MS have a predictable e3 after watching e3 2010 and then e3 2014? It looks like two completely different companies. Last year they announced an IP revival of killer instinct, dead rising 3 as an exclusive as well as new IPs like QB, sunset overdrive, titanfall and Ryse. How exactly is it predictable that they will revive killer instinct? Get an exclusive from insomniac as well as crytek and respawn? Then instead of announcing alan wake 2, have remedy announce a new IP linked with a TV show?

If its a prediction you might want to edit your post as you seem to make out that its set in stone.

Well since Uncharted made it to the PS4 I actually see a lot more of the same on that console also.  Wouldn't be surprized if another God of War game will end up on the PS4.  Doubt we will see anthing new by Naughty Dog anytime soon either so after UC4 it will probably be TLOU2.

Who knows what ND is planning and when. So yea, your point illustrates the unpredictability of Sony's studios compared to MS, especially since you only mentioned two out of many.

Meh, Sony's lineup of first party offering is only slightly better then MS and since I already said earlier that love Forza and Horizon the X1 is guranteed to be the console I play the most this genenration as matter of fact I'm closing in on 200 hours in Forza 5 already.   As for Naught Dog there next three games will be TLOU remastered, UC4 and TLOU2 and you don't have to be a genius to figure that one out.

Microsoft actually showed the most 2014 content during their event.

I love how the OP overlooks posts like these while agreeing with negatives. It seems the agenda is showing.

Good job ignoring the new games that we get every year. Sunset Overdrive, Crackdown Reboot, Quantum Break, Scalebound, Undead Labs' new IP for Xbox and Project Spark can be big franchises for MS. But I guess Forza, Halo, Gears and Fable are all you see.
