Forums - Nintendo - My quick impressions of my new Wii U

I would get a wiiu but I don't have time. For one console ps4

VITA 32 GIG CARD.250 GIG SLIM & 160 GIG PHAT PS3

For the people who asked, I didn't get Pikmin because I want to have the physical copy of it. I also didn't get Zelda Wind Waker because I already played and beat it numerous times on the GC.

I was originally going to get Wii Party U because I also wanted the physical copy of NSMBU at first too but II'm glad I decided to get it free because.. you know

Are you in the EU? For thirty pound Amazon.co.uk voucher I will give you my Mario Kart 8 download code if you plan to buy Pikmin 3! I've it is still selling for very high prices. (I am from ROI so I have to use the British version of the site.)

I never eally understood the problem with Nintendo online on Wii U. I think really they just need to make more online supported games. I like my eShop and Miiverse is cool

I can admit to New Super Mario Bros U just being OKish, but It was like a cheap launch game. In my opiion it's only been recently has there been some quality titles. It looks like they are solving their issues and managing. We got games till the end of this year and there was loads coming for 2015, Definitely a step in the right direct.

I don't understand how Microsoft and Sony online is so superior when compared to Nintendo. What am I missing? Cross game chat? Big fucking deal.

Paying 50 bucks per year is another big advantage.

I'm pretty sure if Nintendo would offer a yearly $50 subscription, where you get 2 WiiU-games, 2 Wii-games and 2 3DS-games each month, most of you would take that deal.

Glad to hear your opinions, sounds like you're enjoying it!

Also, there's a good few games here and coming out which you can enjoy, Pikmin and Lego City are good examples.

I agree with others though. Never had any problem with the online and it holds up real well. Web browser is awesome too; can play a YouTube video on the TV and continue browsing on the GamePad!

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Probably, but unless you get to keep the games after the sub ends then you could count me out.

We're mostly happy just getting random free stuff on our Wii-U's and 3DS's for seemingly no reason.

Believe me, as a PS3 owner, not having cross game chatting sucks big time. It's much easier to organize a party to play with friends if you can actually talk to them without the need to everyone quit their current games to chat. And it's not rocket science, Vita is a handheld, has 512MB of RAM, and does it.

Despite that, comparing Vita with PS3, the handheld is superior regarding online in several aspect: separated game invite system, cross game chat, better group message support, easier sharing, support to patch/games download while playing other games. If you factor in PS4 with video sharing and live streaming of games, PS3 looks almost prehistoric.

Uh, why would that matter with patch downloading? it's free on the Wii U to do automatic patch download/installs. It recently updated enough to the point that system updates will auto-install aswell. Set that up for 2 or 3 am. You're sleeping, games update. On PS3/4 you need to have PS+ for that feature., which is stupid because you shouldn't have to pay for a damn timer.
