Also pick up Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for the best platformer. YOU will be extremely satisfied, guaranteed

I got NSMBU with my mariokart 8 bundle and completed it last night. It very much reminds me of Super mario world in terms of level design and, if you ignore the comparative freshness and very strong nostalgia of super mario world, NSMBU, to my mind, is the better game and a huge improvement over the previous entries in the NSMB series.

There were some minor things I disliked. The graphics could have been fancier. They did the job and had nice backgrounds but overall it looked unremarkable. Mario was too shiny. Despite getting so many lives that they're never an issue it still forced an annoying save system on you which requires you to remember to save before you quit or you lose progress. an auto save like in SM3DW would have been far better. I'm also irritated by the constant prompts to post to mii verse.

Like Donkey kong tropical freeze, it's a short game. Yet the ease of collecting all the big coins to unlock levels makes it a far more comfortable game to attempt to 100%. I found the idea of 100% DK:TF a little daunting, bearing in mind I have many other games to play right now, and I have barely picked it up post victory. I'm far more likely to keep coming back to NSMBU. The speed run challenges are lots of fun too.

You need to get ZombiU as soon as possible, just don't play it in the dark and make sure you have clean underwear handy lol

There's a demo available for it in the eShop.

I agree and I believe it is only $10 at best buy right now. It's a steal at that price.

I also got the Wii-u/MK8 bundle and I think it was a fantastic value. I really like the system so far. My only complaint is the short range on the gamepad.

I really like the gamepad and I might even prefer to play on it over the tv. I would probably consider it my favorite controller of all-time if it had better distance (I still might consider it my favorite controller anyways). I'm not really sure why it got so much hate, but I suspect most of it came from people that haven't actually used it.

My first three ganes have been MK8; Pikmin 3, and Child of Light. I have no bad things to say about my Wii U so far!

What game you getting next?

If Watch Dogs were out, I'd get it.. But since it's not, my next games are SM3DW and WWHD. I also can't wait for Bayonetta 2!
