urgh cross gen should only exist in the first 6 months of a NEW consoles life!

imho at least. I dunno but it seems annoying to me . also slows down the rate of new consoles being purchased I think.

Not that it's a terrible thing to be cross gen, as it helps the gen-to-gen waning process, but at the time, we still more AAA titles to start moving to next gen only. current gen is suffering full of ports because devs are still too focused on last gen. Hopefully by 2015, current gen install bases will be large enough to justify all devs to start developing exclusively for them. Wolfenstein was a good game, but it was horrible graphically.

Having just moved on up to an XBO......... i selfishly want last gen to just simply perish at this point.

No more games for last gen= people's urgency to upgrade would be greater.

Same here. But expect EA, Ubisoft and Activision to support last gen. For them money matters more than quality.

I am buying this day 1 for my PS4. I couldn't care less if it comes out on Ouya, FireTV, George Foreman Grills and ShakeWeights.

I cant see them being that stupid. Gen 7 software sales will be dead in the water come Holiday 2015.

Considering that the "original" had to sell 6m copies to be profitable this couldn't come as a surprise. Of course they wanna sell on as many consoles as possible
