A good thing, only a bad thing for people who need exclusive ammo for console wars.



I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime. 

The NX will be a 900p machine

Exactly, perfectly said.

 

I also want to mention indies. I cringe everytime I see a narrow minded gamer  complain how all indies suck.... They don;t and are really important, why do people want an industry where only the big AAA marketed games have a chance? An industry where even small devs can be successfull is only a good thing. That indie dev you bashed in 5 years time could be the next big AAA developer. Many of the games you play today started from a smaller group of indie devs.

Yeah this whole outrage at indies is stupid. A good games ecosystem requires a different range of games and genres, otherwise the consoles will just be called "Shooter boxes".

If i dont like the indie games i wont buy them, the same as AAA games. A good game is a good game regardless of its scope/scale and money spent on it. A game with $10m spent on it, doesnt necessarily make it enjoyable.

I think two perfect examples of great future indie games is the Witness and No Mans Sky, they are just glorious looking, and very exciting prospects.

What does that have to do with my post? There's no point in showing the same game in two different pressers is what I was coming to.

Good for the most powerful console (PS4), specially when there is no PC version (Destiny, MGS, etc), not very good for the others.

Showing Multiplats is not a problem but showing just Multiplats isa problem



PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

^this. The fact that it's even a question and that "it's a bad thing" shows how pathetic our industry is. Seriously, how can more  games become bad because they are on multiple systems? Are these console wars that serious. Man, gamers are a scary bunch.

a problem with though is with me as a multiplat gamer if one of the companies are mainly showing Multiplats over exclusives just shows me that owning both consoles isn't a good thing cause it kills my interest in that console 


Why would you own both in the first place?  If 2 consoles are similar, figure out which one you prefer and move on. That's all there is to it. I thought we all figured this one out last gen.
