Ya know, its kinda weird to me that Sony's main audience isn't pissed that US/UK is getting special treatment. But I guess it's bound to be this way since US/UK have the best internet connections.

US/UK is Sony's main audience.

I'm not sure that they do have the best internet connections actually.

I didn't mean "PS4's main audience". The majority of last gen Sony consoles aren't in US/UK. I basically meant "rest of Europe/world"

Yeah but I'd still be right. They are Sony's biggest markets. Well, I guess you can make an argument for Japan being bigger for them than the UK

Well yeah I can see it that way if you're talking about markets. I was just meaning Europe, Japan, rest of the world in general. Its just not like 360's where US/UK comes more than 60% of the console's sales.

Europe consists of many countries. They have to start somewhere, so the biggest market seems like the logical choice. The rest should get it eventually.

Come on man what about Japan, I know we're a safe market but when it comes to internet stucture... surely we would have been perfect test bed?

It should be the first. It is by far the biggest PlayStation market in Europe.

"broadband infrastructure is up there with the best in Europe"

Is it though? I've been living in the Uk for 5 years and constantly had problems with my broadband. I've been using virgin most of the time, but from what I've heard from friends who have other providers, like talktalk, it's actually worse. Could be wrong of course, but that's the impression I got.

Thats why.

BT infinity.  75meg down, 20meg up.  Never had a sinlge problem, ever.

Oh man. I had no idea. I think I once heard something bad about BT and after that never really considered using them. Plus whenever I would use sites that suggest the best broadband in your area, Bt was never that high. Sky was usually a bit higher than BT and almost every student I know has virgin.

Oh well, I guess if I do stay longer, I'll switch to BT. Thanks for the info, man.

They want to make sure they never lose the U.S. And U.K. market again
