I think its a fair comment. Seriously, it's been less than 2 years if you're counting all consoles. This is very early, I mean early as hell. Anything could happen within the next 2 years and to be honest, it could be anyone's game. I agree, it could be anyone's game at this point. If the holidays were the next 2 months, we could definitely see a massive change in the field.

microsoft: 4.5
Nintendo: 6.3
Sony: 8.1

No one is above 5 million overall lead. No major game release except for maybe MK8, has been out as of yet. No new IP has truly garnered the darling moniker of this generation. I understand we have preliminary strong starters, but this is by no means gg. We have at least another holiday before one of the consoles cement their dominance for this generation. Right now we just need to see where this is going.

What else is he gonna say. But in essence he's right - if Nintendo do pull off the turn around they seem to prepping themselves for it could seem rather close between the three consoles if they all do their best.

But to be honest, it would have been way more awesome if he'd said something like: "In theory its a fifty-to-one chance we win, but here's the thing. We're Nintendo, we like those odds."
