Forums - Nintendo - What is your favorite part of Nintendo's E3 events?

First off, this was an incredible E3 week for Nintendo for me! It had an awesome Direct on Tuesday, Smash Bro Tournament afterwards, and then the Treehouse events days later. Even the closed developer roundtables were interesting, revealing Pac Man and Intelligent System's new game: Code Name Steam!

Zelda U's reveal was my favorite thing show in the Direct this Tuesday (just look at my avatar for confirmation)! But my favorite part of E3 will have to be activities that aren't normally seen in press conferences or direct. That is the Smash Bros Invitational! The overwhelming energy for the audience and the matches shown... The competitors playing all out and having a blast... Zelda Williams, and Reggie's (literally) kick ass response to one of the contestant in the end makes the Smash Bro Invitational the best part of Nintendo's digital event in E3 this week! But I have to say, the non-stop gameplay demos yesterday and today in Nintendo's Treehouse was delicious, delicious icing on the top.

So what is your favorite part of Nintendo's E3 events this week?

The Treehouse thing. Lots of awesome footage!

all of it.

The Treehouse Live stream was the best part of it. Personally I didn't like the Digital Event all that much - it really wasn't that great, people - so a closer and more detailed look at the games was necessary; Treehouse gave me that.

But treehouse. Bayonetta 2 footage, Xenoblade footage.....Zelda U screenshot. Just the one.

I could tell you enjoyed the Treehouse the most from the official Nintendo E3 thread! You were adding screen shot after screen shot for some of the gameplay demos!

Agreed. In fact, the Treehouse stream actually got me to add Bayonetta 2 to my future Wii U wishlist! I already started thinking about it after Bayonetta 1 was to included for free, but that fast pace gameplay and the casual touch screen interface got me sold! This is really clever advertising from Nintendo.

And I can never get enough of Smash Bros gameplay demo.

while i only manage to get to watch most of day 1 of the tree house and a little of day 2 and 3 it was a lot of fun watching along with the Smash tournament and digital event so its kinda hard to decided

The Treehouse demos of Xenoblade Chronicles X. Or as I like to call it, LITERALLY a BIGGER, BETTER version of my favorite game of all time.

Upcoming Games To Get

Definite: Kirby Star Allies (Switch), Mario Tennis Aces (Switch), Fire Emblem (Switch), Yoshi (Switch), Pokemon (Switch), Kingdom Hearts 3 (PS4), Monster Hunter World (PS4)

Considering: Fe (Switch), Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze (Switch), The World Ends With You (Switch), Ys VIII (Switch), Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition (PS4), Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Remix (PS4), The Last Guardian (PS4), Shadow of the Colossus HD (PS4), Anthem (PS4), Shenmue 3 (PS4), WiLD (PS4)

Treehouse hands down.

Minus Sony's tv talk I enjoyed all three conferences, so winner just comes down to game preferences. The smash tournament was amazing and so fun. Great cosplay, great energy, great fights, good commentary, funny, ect. Hope they have more tournaments.

BUT Treehouse was just amazing

I have no idea what else happened during E3. All I did was sit and watch treehouse non-stop. Heck the only complaint I had about it was that htere was like only 90 seconds break between games. Totally not enough time to run and get something to eat or bathroom or ect. The treehouse event made it feel like no one else was at E3 but Nintendo.

Why did I watch only treehouse and not look at what other things were going on? Because treehouse made it feel like I was there. it's boring going to ign, gamespot, or whatever and seeing what link they post showing someones thoughts on a demo or some new trailer or old trailer, ect. That just feels so disconnecting. Treehouse made me feel like I was at E3. Even watching a game I didnt' like or seen already it still was entertaining.

If other companies don't do something liek Treehouse next year they are idiots. If Nintendo discontinues Treehouse, they are idiots.
