The Mega Evolution always happens first, unless you have a move like Intimidate, which works before you can choose a move.


Wait, not sure if your words are mistaken me but prankster will work the turn they mega evolve. Speed is determined before the turn starts. Including Swift Swim/Sand Rush/etc!

speed is always determined at the beginning of the turn so you'll have the priority that turn while mega evolution. How do I Kno this? Mega Banette has prankster and it doesn't activate during mega evolution.

OK cheers, opens up some nice possibilities for Sableye.  Might send one over to Alpha Sapphire for a playthrough, if we get the mega stone during the story at least.

So maybe some possibilitys with Megasableye...

hopefully they drop his speed harshly down to make better use of Its Stats. Also pls dont add any to attack. It needs all the points it can get :-/

I mean, Magic Bounce is a great ability, in fact it's among the best out there.

But Prankster is such a great tool to use, especially with the moveset Sableye has. Sableye is a physical attacker troll. He goes in, goes first and burns it with Will-O-Wisp, and proceeds to stall out with Recover/Leftovers and Night Shade.

Might be a case where both are viable in the competitive game. Will be interesting to see the stats of Mega Sableye.

Yes, such a great design and one of my favorite pokemon. He's UU but with a mega evolution, he can be in OU! How you say? This is how
