It would be interesting to see the same stats for XBox One owners as well.

I would expect the number of XBox One owners who did not own a 360 last generation to be pretty low right now.

I always get a kick out of these comments,  because you don't like the stats don't mean they are false. Do you even know what market research is? Statistics? They easily know this. Did you ever do statistics in university? There is a reason they call elections when only 20% of the vote is in...These Stats are accurate withing a few percentage points, it's how market research works. Companies like Sony do this to geta  feel for the market, how to sell their product and market it to what demographics. Companies spend a lot on this stuff for a reason.

No, they uses common market research and statistics which are accurate within a few percentage points.
