Beta officially extended.

I just got a Level 11 Rare Chest piece. Its pretty sweet.

Cryptid 4.6

92 Defence, 12 Intellect and 11 Strength.

If only I could use the damn thing.

yeah, I don't think there are any rare items that can actually be used in the alpha.  I've found a ton, but lowest level required for one is 10... that I have found anyway...

So, I didn't like how direction-less the game was. I feel like there was random stuff to do and none of it was of any consequence.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,

I'm not sure what exactly you did but it didn't feel that way at all to me. Each mission was explained why it needed to be done. If you wanted to world around you to actually change from these missions you did well that would sort of destroy everyone elses experience because you'd be changing their world also. Doing these missions helps you get money and experience to make your chacter stronger.

well, there is a main storyline in the game, but you only got a little snippet of it in the alpha.  The alpha was mostly about exlporing the area...

i ended up doing the devils lair thing again late last night with a couple of strangers,it seemed tougher than the first time,it was pretty good fun

i like the way you can get low on ammo and get caught by a fallen captain and they'll kick your arse as i am only a little hunter so run and then snipe them for my buddies

The only part of Devils Lair I found "difficult" was where you have to wait for the robot to turn off the lasers so you can get through the door.

Surviving those 3 waves of enemmies was really tough. The area is too small!
