Thanks for the information. The game definitely looks great; so much so that I just made the plunge and pre-ordered the Destiny bundle the other day. I saw a stream earlier in the week talking about character skill trees, loot, and so on, which got me really hyped for the game, and I liked the powers that I've seen for the different classes.

Got any footage of the character creator yet Ben? Pretty please? =)

Ben if you could answer, those starships, can you do something with them? Any dogfighting? Or are they only means of transport between planets in a cutscene?

As of now, no dogfighting they are just your transportation. You can customize them though. You see your ship a lot though actually, you can go into orbit at any time and between activities your on you ship while searching through the menus. 

Hopefully the final game has actual space flight but none so far in the Alpha

Thanks for the info, would be cool if they would expand some gameplay mechanics upon those starships. I start to regret I didn't sign for the alpha, the more I see of the game the more I want to play it!
