Wow, I did not expect it to be so low 0_o (WiiU)

Perhaps now people will stop proclaiming it has "second place on lockdown" the truth is the bump was likely around 100k that week.

I was waiting for you to see this lol. Turns out Wii U couldn't beat XB1 this NPD with its biggest game of the year and with people waiting on a $399 XB1.

Well. It is America so not overly surprising. Still, with the biggest game as you said, WiiU has made very small inroads, which will be all but gone by now thanks to $399 sku.

I'm just amazed WiiU saw such a small boost in US, UK and Japan. France was a great boost, but is that indicitive of a Europe wide boost? If it isn't then MK week could well be around the 100k mark like I suggested weeks ago. Thus sustaining about 100k weekly like many said is unlikely.

What's even worse is that I thought there was a bundle that people were pre-ordering. What happened to that?

Stop dreaming, PLEASE.

Read the topic carefully and see how those people are talking about the amount of days it had in May and how we now have to wait to see June's numbers too!

Well, it should at least reign in the couple of pie in the sky folk who proclaimed the Wii U would retake the overall lead by mid 2015. . .

They were jumping with joy in this thread, only to be snatched back into reality by NPD. Now its excuses excuses.

Well, the Wii U did somewhat worse than I expected and the Vita did somewhat better. A bit depressed by Wii U sales; guess June will be the key really. But it's not a good start.

On the flipside Vita has done mighty fine indeed. Very glad to see more people pick up the system; well deserved indeed.

Also I'm on 50 posts per page and I can see three or four users who are getting a little heated already. So, yeah. It's been said in this thread before but keep it cool and civil, no flaming or stealth trolling (or straight up trollling indeed). We've had enough casualties from this thread already.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Well I think the WiiU should get a price cut effective tomorrow, then I can buy one sooner :D

Just to piss you off? Perhaps to make a distinction between week of, openning weekend, and week after? You seem to be taking this awfully seriously.

You're the one arguing nonsense. Just accept wii u performed badly

I accept, or though that doesn't mean much being a Sony guy and all xD

Oh boy just realized we overtracked the PS4 by around 70k as well. That surprised me a little bit.

Seems like everything is struggling a tad. Next month should be a better one though for some consoles at least so no real need to panic yet!

In a perfect sales world, the PS4 and the X1 would both be selling more. Though I do believe the consoles are selling in the right order/ ratio. Maybe a smaller portion for the Wii U, but really not much to complain about.

Just a heads up, Nintendo is offering refurbished Wii U's (the 32GB one with Nintendo Land) for $199.99 right now, and apparently most/all of the units are even new (dead stock I guess?). It comes with a 1 year warranty from Nintendo to boot.

Might as well jump on that because if you buy MK8 this summer you get a free second game on top of that (I'd go with Pikmin 3).

No reason to wait for a price cut, even if they do cut the price it's going to $250 first, not $199.99.

It's on back order right now, but should be available again on the 23rd according to Nintendo.com, I'd get on that because these will probably dry up fast.

Let's not forget that PC gaming is surging.
