Probably because last year we didn't had the exact number, just generic info from creamsugar as we usually do and them we calculate on that estimate... but aquamarine have confirmed that May 2013 were 32 something. Not that it really make much difference.

Means sales for May are really bad, although from launch to now the XB1 is still ahead of the XB360.
That is the spin.

That was an estimate given by an insider or Nintendo. Someone revealed the exact number since its been a year.
Wasn't may the month that there was supposed to be a certain wiiU boost thanks to MK8? Or is the boost the 61k?

X1 is in danger of falling behind its predecessor. X1's April NPD was worse than any of the 360's NPDs (w/ the exception of this year's). I bet May will be the same and who knows how the X1 will do this month...

DonFerrari said: Frustrating is your complete inability to link things... so people being happy of WiiU selling 85k doesn't relate to WiiU actually selling like 20k for the same week? How is that... it's like saying people being happy on a lie is no problem because the point was just that they were happy, not that they seem miserable right now. |
The thread was answering why nintendo fans were coming out of the woodworks. So how do the real numbers have any effect on that? They don't because it had no fucking bearing on the topic. If I told you I had a loaded gun and made you go around doing shit all day, then at the end of the day let you go, it doesn't matter that the gun was actually empty after the fact. Do you grasp that or is it over your head?

The boost has been officially postponed to June by the Nintendo trackers on the site.
