Forums - Gaming - Best part of E3 2014...(so far)

Zelda, Halo Master Chief Collection, and Uncharted 4 were the best parts of each conference.

Grim fandango remaster, outta nowhere.

This is the same thing from the last gen, minus the mass appeal from the previous Nintendo offering. Something my niece would play but not at all something me and my money would spend on playing games for myself.

I see it time and time again. Families buy the Nintendo console. Gamer's with money buy and HD console for newer adult stuff and possibly a Nintendo console for the games they loved as a child. I don't like to harp on the meme that Nintendo only caters to children, but it seems beyond opinion that Nintendo is family friendly oriented while the other consoles seems to have a wider audience, both family games (even if they are not 'as good as nintendo') as well as adult specific (tits and death).

I really don't know how else to put it. Nintendo seems to be nothing more than nostalgia and younger audiences. And yes I consider fathers and mothers playing with their kids as a younger audience.

Did I just read this word-for-word on another thread?

Back on topic - I'm going to be catching up on E3 over the next few days, but what I've seen so far I really do like the Treehouse format. I felt that it went far more in-depth, and now they've been posted up it's good to be able to dip into the games I'm interested in for more info.

the Smash Tournament for me

Yes you did. I felt my words should be read on both threads. Should I delete it?

A warrior keeps death on the mind from the moment of their first breath to the moment of their last.

I don't know what the rules are, but you've got some good exposure now!

I must agree. I was skeptical of the Treehouse streams at first. But I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Xenoblade Chronicles X stream. It resold me on the game and hyped me another 10 fold.

The MGSV trailer at Sony's conference.

Certainly woke me up after that snore-fest in the middle.
