It's nice to aim for things.

It's not nice if they are unable to keep their promise.

Yah because you know for a fact they won't? right?

I see a lot of people hoping they won't keep their promise in this thread; really wondering why they actually bother...

I was not hoping like other people. I was talking about the consequence. Please dont express you opinion at me which are output of other peoples opinion.

True I was responding to your post while expressing my oppinion about other posters :) My appologies.

And yah, it would be bad but at the same time, just be reducing effects/AA etc.. I do not believe it would be hard to achieve 1080p. Hell, Bungie just said they would target 1080p for Destiny where it was not possible before. The new Dev Kit and that GPU power beeing freed up seem to be a good enough boost :)

Could be this just isn't a demanding game. Aside from that it looks horrible from what I can see so far. I watched the reveal with a HUGE bf4/bf4 fan and he isn't interested in the least. That's a bad sign.

"Visceral Games will be aiming for parity between the PS4 and Xbox One versions."

i hope they are talking about it being 1080p 60fps here, not the entire visual filidty of the game. PS4 version shouldn't be held back because XB1 is weaker.

Lame developers, like everyone just aiming for parity. ( i think everyone thought the same when xbox games were identical to PS2 games )

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

I saw the word "parity" and threw up in mouth a little bit.

wat they should aim for is a bug free game or at least minimal !!

After playing some Battlefield Hardline (supposedly 1080p 60fps) on PS4, I think this looks worse than Battlefield 4 (900p 60fps). Hardline has better resolution (which is slightly noticeable), but definitely scaled back on lively graphics. Maybe it's just the maps, but there isn't much going on in the background. It seems like smoke, lighting, shadowing, wind, etc all were scaled back.

It could mean that both are 900p, but performance of PS4 title should also improve this year.

Has ANYONE read the OP "Battlefield Hardline is already confirmed to be running at 1080p and 60fps on the PlayStation 4, so where does that leave the Xbox One version? Ian confirmed to us, that ‘it should be the same.’"

Thanks. You are one of the very few people at vgchartz who are not afraid to express apology if the actual comment is wrong. Hats off.

Promises made, but promises kept?

We'll see about that... we'll see...

My thoughts as well.

Will the game be a bugfest like BF4 though?
