The PSP is a great emulation machine of Nintendo games, many people must be buying one or twice to have just in case their old one stops working, since they will not be making new any more.

I think that why Nintendo announced Splatoon (a game with strong Western influences)at E3, I think that Nintendo began to realize that the Japanese market does not support the Wii U over the long term. They need to sell more in Western markets.
