Forums - Gaming - Looks like Sony Got The Biggest Boost Coming Out Of E3...

At least going by Amazon.  While the Halo Collection has remained at #1 for about 2 days, if we look at the Top 20 in Bestsellers for the hour, we can see who really got an E3 boost.  The PS4 Destiny bundle has risen to #4 very quickly and has stayed there for a few hours.  The normal PS4 SKU is at #8.  Destiny PS4 is at #11.  The Order:PE is #12.  GTA5 PS4 is #13.  AC Unity PS4 is #14.  And Watch Dogs PS4 rounds out the Top 20.  Even the PS TV is doing quite nicely and has stayed in the Top 15 for the almost 2 days.

Now, if we look at HW for the One, the Kinectless SKU rose, but never quite broke the Top 20 (at least that I have seen), but has already started to drop and is now at #38.  The Titanfall Bundle is now at #50.  If we look at SW, besides the Halo Collection, the first game on the list is Destiny at #29.  It's interesting to note that not only are the PS4 SKUs beating the One, but so are both PS TV SKUs, at #9 and #34.

I think it will be interesting to see how long this all lasts, as well as see where things end up on the Bestsellers for the month/year.

Only because Nintendo didn't announce a new bundle of any sort.

I said it yesterday in regards to halo and i'll say it today in regards to this thread.
Amazon rankings of newly added products within the first day/few days mean very little.

Titanfall Bundle? there still selling these things?

as seen by last gen its kinda hard to comeback MS gots a long hard road ahead of them and it will be a up hill battle the cut to 399 is a good start but imo there gonna need to go below the ps4 to start outselling it by meaningful amounts its highly possible that Junes NPD will still show a PS4 victory in fact this is a good candidate for my "i believe" threads

on to creating that very thread

Amazon should also show Last Day and Last Week sales rankings (monthly might be interesting also).  Would be much more interesting than Hours/Yearly.

Ehhh, amazon comparison and these kind of things are pretty iffy. Good news, though.

Very true.  I'm not saying this boost will last, just that it seems Sony is the one who got a real boost from E3.  Only one game that MS announced really shot up in the charts and has stayed there.  And their HW isn't looking so good right now, either.

Interesting and disastrous for MS.

That would be entirely on Nintendo.

Not that I'm saying Amazon orders are a particularly good gauge of sales.

Yea, they must have really felt that game was going to make sales explode if there are still that many to sell.  And I agree that the One HAS to be, at most, $349 if they actually want to compete in the long run.  Of course, that mostly pertains to US and UK.  Mainland EU and Japan are lost causes, at this point.
